The Italian Festival is an initiative aimed at promoting Italy in Singapore. The initiative, jointly organized by the Italian Embassy, the Italian Trade Commission, the Italian Cultural Institute and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, consists of a series of events that cover a wide range of sectors: Lifestyle, Design, Art, Culture, Technology, Cinema, Food, Wine.

A touch of Italy 2008 presents the spirit of Italy through a kaleidoscope of events mixing art with technology and the worlds of Italian fashion and cuisine.

The title of the festival reflects the fact that no single event could do justice to the full spectrum of Italian life and culture. However we have carefully selected a range of high quality events that truly represents the best of Italy.

As part of A touch of Italy 2008 the Italian Cultural Institute is presenting a series of cultural events to suit all taste, which includes modern and classic films for adults and children, a light and sound show, exhibitions of literature and photography and even a puppet show.
