“Going Campania” - Culinary Art of Campania Cuisine
5 -11 May 2008

Between 5 and 11 May 2008 “Going Campania” will bring to Singapore the taste of real Italian food, in fact in three prestigious restaurants there will be cooking demonstrations and a special menu by young chefs using products exclusively from Campania, Italy. A variety of food, wine and other beverages as well as tourist attractions from the region will be presented.

A gala dinner will also be organised. The outstanding special menus will include delicious dishes such as “Buffalo Meat Filled Ravioli with Tomato Sauce”, “Bresaola Escalopes with Annurca Apple and Aglianico Wine Sauce”, “Filled Paccheri Served on Polenta (thick maize porridge)”, “Artichokes Flavoured with Mint”, “Hazelnut Cream Filled Puffs” and many more.

The culinary demonstrations of Campania Region Cuisine will be conducted by a combined team of teachers and students from three schools of TERRA di LAVORO namely:

  • “Galileo Galilei” Technical, Commercial and Tourism Institute in Sparanise city
  • Hotel Management Institute in Teano city
  • The Civil Senior High School “Luigi Garofano” in Capua city
